Role Purpose

Communicate all matters related to investors that bridge the gap between management and investors to broaden and increase shareholder value and enhance KLCCP Stapled Groups image in the investment community

Main Accountabilities

  • Drive the engagement and implementation of IR engagement activities and plans with the Investment Community (i.e. Analysts/Fund Managers/MSWG and etc) through strategic execution and managing IR meetings conference calls conferences site visits to nurture trust with stakeholders while influencing investor community to be favourably towards a fair market value for companys stock
  • Establish strong relationship with the investment community by developing and managing information flow between the group and equity analyst and fund managers. Monitoring & track analysts reports & market discussions review analyst forecast/recommendations maintain a detailed assessment of consensus estimates & issues driving market sentiments
  • Drive the implementation of the companys IR strategy and plans based on the current business and operating landscapes REITs environment competitors and industry trends which may impact the Groups business and financial performances as well as capital market movements
  • Develop in-depth and impactful presentation decks visuals and collaterals for all investor meetings and Group presentation events conveying strong compelling storyboard strategy and focused initiatives to propel growth and value for the organization
  • Manage the IR messaging in all presentation materials for analysts briefings reports for results announcements investor presentation Investor conferences AGM and any ad-hoc events to achieve high levels of transparency in disclosure
  • Manage the financial community to understand the company and its core business. Respond promptly to internal and external adhoc queries including analyst media and investors using publicly available information in company Bursa filings news releases and presentations. Maintain strong familiarity with core markets and business initiatives
  • Lead and direct the execution of the Companys yearly Integrated Annual Reports message and content based on the Bursa Malaysia Main Market Listing Requirements and International Integrated Reporting Framework as well as executing theme design production and delivery
  • Collate analyse and communicate market intelligence for senior management information & decision making purposes. Conduct industry market competitors and peer analysis to benchmark the companys competitive position to better reflect business and qualitative information and to capture (in presentation format) all new development in the macro environment and the REITs industry
  • Drive and lead the monitoring of KLCCs capital market performance (e.g. share price trend market capitalization sell-side analyst consensus ratings and shareholder return) by recommending strategic options to top management that will address the gaps and emerging issues that may have an adverse impact to the Groups reputation and share price performance to sustain investor confidence in the company

Requirements

Qualification:

  • University degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics
  • Professional qualifications: ACCA CIMA MACPA CFA or an MBA in related subjects will be an added advantage
  • Years of experience: At least 7 years of experience in a related industry and/or Investor Relations

Additional experience:

  • Experience in investor relations activities and exposure to the analyst or investment community is an ad advantage
  • Demonstrate strategic and innovative thinking and good commercial acumen excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to foster relationships will peers and senior management
  • Have strong verbal communication and presentation skills; and the ability to write creatively and succinctly
  • Articulate and engaging effective in chairing meetings facilitating discussions and conducting presentations
  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities to interpret financial statements and to conduct financial / business analysis.
