What you will do
Manage and Lead the maintenance team.
Support Plant Manager with CAPEX and FE - Fix Expenses budgeting
Participate and contribute in all improvement initiatives such as 6S Safety Excellence Winning Together Waste reduction etc.
Place service calls to outside repair/contractor agencies
Interface and support contractors as needed
Report safety and environmental incidents.
Ensure all operators have the relevant training to operate equipment related to their assignments in a safe manner.
Ensure that all company policies including all safety policies are followed.
Ensure that all quality and work practices all relevant procedures and SOPs are followed.
Ensure that risks and waste are minimized.
Work closely with the Supervisors and the Maintenance team to ensure equipment is functioning properly and downtime is minimized.
Report any mechanical and electrical problems.
Attend safety meetings.
Maintain good housekeeping in assigned work areas.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisors.
Key Tasks
Planning organizing and supervising day to day task of maintenance department
Effectively playing a lead role and be fully responsible in leading the engineering team
Identify plant CAPEX project needs and seek competitive quotation by working closely with procurement
Involve in FE budget preparation for repair and maintenance related works and ensure FE are managed within budget
Plan & execute scheduled preventive maintenance
Maintain and upkeep all maintenance related data and records as required by Hempel Group
Minimize dependent to external contractor on carrying out repair or maintenance job
Work as a team closely with production QC and other plant department
Maintain maintenance spare part stocks accuracy
Work closely with finance to ensure all new asset are tagged and old asset tags are well maintained
Plan subordinates to participate in daily Tier 1 meeting and personally participate in both Tier 1 & Tier 2 meeting
Lead continuous improvement project assigned using Hempel Improvement Cycle
Ensure adherence to site safety all time
What we are looking for
Diploma/Degree holder preferable in engineering
Chemical manufacturing or paint processing experience of minimum 5-8 Yrs
Read write and speak good local language
Read write and speak simple English
