Job Summary
- Draft review and prepare legal documents pleadings submissions and other court-related documentation.
- Represent clients in court proceedings including case management mediation hearings trials and other litigation matters.
- Provide legal advice and attend meetings with clients to discuss case strategies and progress.
- Handle additional legal assignments and responsibilities as delegated by the firm.
- Position available in Kuala Lumpur or Penang.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in civil litigation.
- Proven ability to independently manage hearings trials and other litigation proceedings.
- Experience handling appellate court matters will be considered an added advantage.
- Bachelors Degree in Law (LLB) and admission as an Advocate & Solicitor qualified to practise law.
- Strong interpersonal communication and stakeholder management skills with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Detail-oriented well-organised and capable of managing multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.
