Technical Skill Requirements

• Hands-on experience with DMX lighting control systems and signal distribution
• Proficiency in operating lighting consoles (e.g. MA Lighting GrandMA Martin M1 or similar)
• Ability to program lighting cues and sequences for live shows and rehearsals
• Strong knowledge of stage lighting fixtures (LED moving heads spotlights strobes fog machines lasers)
• Experience in lighting rigging focusing and circuiting for stage productions
• Ability to perform troubleshooting and basic-to-intermediate repair of lighting equipment
• Familiarity with electrical wiring and power distribution for stage setups
• Experience working with overhead rigging systems and theatre infrastructure
• Ability to read and follow lighting plots cue sheets and technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of audio systems integration (supporting sound during events)
• Proficiency in technical reporting/logging for shows and equipment status
• Comfortable using PC systems for control software show files and documentation

Job Responsibilities

• Set up operate and maintain lighting systems for shows and entertainment venues
• Program and run lighting consoles during rehearsals and live performances
• Conduct pre-show checks to ensure all lighting equipment is fully functional
• Maintain lighting quality and design integrity throughout performances
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance of lighting equipment
• Assist with sound and technical support during events when required
• Ensure safety standards and proper handling of all equipment at all times
• Work closely with Stage Manager and team for smooth show operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all technical areas
• Deliver excellent guest service and support onboard entertainment experience
