Reports To : Director of Security

Job Summary:The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of guests at the swimming pool by monitoring activities enforcing safety rules responding to emergencies and maintaining a clean and safe pool environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all guests in and around the swimming pool.
• Monitor pool activities and enforce safety rules regulations and hotel policies.
• Respond promptly to emergencies perform water rescues and administer first aid or CPR when required.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the swimming pool and ensure all pool equipment is clean functional and safe to use.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and report any hazards or maintenance issues immediately.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to provide excellent guest service and support daily hotel operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Lifeguard preferably in a hotel resort or recreational facility.
• Possess a valid Bronze Medallion certification and First Aid/CPR certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
• Friendly responsible and service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Due to work permit restrictions only citizens and Permanent Residents of Malaysia will be considered.
