Job Summary
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Basic Function of the Job:
The HR Business Partner is a strategic and operational leader responsible for driving HR excellence across Malaysia operations. This role supports business growth by aligning HR strategies with organizational goals & business objectives fostering a values-driven culture and ensuring compliance with global and local employment standards.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in high-tech manufacturing startup environments Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) labour requirements and navigating complex matrixed reporting structures.
Strategic HR Leadership
Partner with senior leadership to implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives and core values.
Lead organizational development initiatives and support change management efforts.
Operate effectively within a highly matrixed global organization collaborating across multiple reporting lines and geographies to deliver results.
Drive and own end-to-end Human Strategy planning execution and effectiveness to enable business success
Talent Management & Development
Drive talent acquisition strategies to support rapid growth and innovation.
Lead performance management succession planning and leadership development programs for the business and HR.
Employee Engagement & Culture
Champion a culture of inclusion mutual respect and open communication.
Lead employee engagement surveys and action planning.
Compensation & Benefits
Ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
Drive benefits programs and wellness initiatives aligned with companys philosophy.
Compliance & Risk Management
Lead implementation and monitoring of RBA labour standards ensuring ethical labour practices and compliance with global and local regulations.
Manage employee relations investigations and grievance procedures with integrity and fairness.
HR Operations & Analytics
Optimize HR systems and processes for scalability and efficiency.
Use data-driven insights to inform decisions and measure HR effectiveness.
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in human resources management Social Sciences Business Administration Science or equivalent
7 years of similar experience/exposure in electronics manufacturing environment.
Well versed in Labour Laws Employment Act 1955 Industrial Relations Act 1967 local industrial. statutory requirements and prevailing Human Resource Practices and Legislation.
Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature availability of buddy duration of learning etc.
