Ground Transportation Manager

Job Descriptions:

• Work as intermediary for communication between operations teams and Crane Worldwide network
• Work with operations team to provide tracking information as requested by the client
• Development of department operational KPIs
• Proactively identify and meet customer and stakeholder needs
• Escalate all issues with a shipment immediately to the client to insure prompt resolution
• Development of department operational KPIs
• Responsible for creating and monitoring goals and performance reviews of direct reports
• Oversee mentor and assist other team members as needed
• Manages team in process and continuous improvement efforts
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business Logistics Organizational Development Transportation or related field or equivalent work experience is required
• A minimum of 5 (five) years Transportation/Logistics experience preferred
• A minimum of 3 (three) years supervisory experience preferred
• Experience with ground transportation operations including DOT OSHA and all related safety regulations
