This role provides an opportunity to develop specialised expertise in the audit of unit trust funds.As an FS Specialist you will work closely with audit teams toexecute routine high-volume auditproceduresincludingreviewoffund financial statements assess compliance with regulatory requirements and gain exposure to the investment management industry.This is aspecialisedoperational role focused on consistent meticulous execution ofstandardisedaudit procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Execute routine and repetitive audit procedures for unit trust funds and other investment vehiclesinhigh volume.
Assistin the planning and execution of audits for unit trust funds and other investment vehicles.
Review financial statementsagainststandardisedcheckliststo ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Perform analytical procedures and investigate unusual transactions or variances.
Assistin reviewing annual and interim financial statements of unit trust funds.
Ensure disclosurescomply withrelevant accounting frameworks and industry regulations.
Support the preparation of audit documentation and working papers.
Review compliance with trust deeds fund prospectuses Securities Commission requirements and other applicable regulations.
Identify audit risks and communicate findings to senior team members.
Requirements
Possesses a Bachelor in Accounting
Candidates witha minimum ofCGPA 2.6and above.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Basic knowledge of auditing concepts and procedures.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Willingness to learn and developexpertiseinunit trust fundaudits.
