AIS islooking for a FP&A Data Analyst who can take ownership of monthly forecasting processes ensuring data is accurate consistent and ready for senior leadership review. The role focuses on using advanced Excel and automation tools to streamline reporting improve efficiency and drive continuous improvements while confidently engaging with stakeholders across the business to challenge data and support decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage the consolidation of monthly forecasts received from Operations Sales and subsidiary entities (primarily Excel-based inputs)
Perform initial analysis and validation of submitted forecasts ensuring accuracy completeness and consistency ahead of Finance Senior Leadership review
Develop a strong understanding of the end-to-end forecasting process including data sources assumptions and drivers across different business units
Identify and deliver automation opportunities to streamline the consolidation and reporting process working closely with Operations Sales and Finance teams
Implement improvements across various finance areas to reduce manual effort standardise inputs and enhance the reliability and speed of reporting
Maintain and enhance existing automated processes particularly those built using Power Query and Excel-based solutions
Engage with stakeholders to challenge and validate variances ensuring explanations are clearly understood and supported before escalation to senior stakeholders
Ensure data accuracy and integrity within TM1 supporting the maintenance and reliability of financial data
Play a key role in implementation of a Group Reporting pack contributing to the design standardisation and rollout across business units
Actively contribute to future system and process improvements including the implementation of a new ERP system ensuring alignment with reporting and data requirements
Drive continuous improvement across Finance
What are we looking for in our FP&A Data Analyst:
Strong Excel skills (advance level comfortable with large datasets)
3 years experience in data analysis reporting finance or business environment.
Proven advanced experience with Power Query
Proven ability to improve or automate processes
Strong stakeholder communication skills
Strong interest in using AItools *Artificial Intelligence(e.g. CoPilot) to improve efficiency and automate tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to engage credibly with technical and commercial stakeholders
Degree in Accounting Finance or STEM
Professional qualification (ACCA / CIMA / CPA) qualified or in progress

Up to RM 110000.00 per annum DOE
