Finance Manager (FMCG, Selayang)
Job Summary
The Finance Manager will oversee financial reporting budgeting and internal controls across several group companies. The role demands expertise in MFRS compliance group consolidation and manufacturing cost accounting while working closely with production and supply chain teams to ensure accurate costing and inventory management.
Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in line with MFRS.
Consolidate P&L and financial statements across group entities including intercompany eliminations.
Maintain consolidation schedules and ensure consistent accounting policies.
Oversee full set of accounts for each entity.
Manage manufacturing/product costing: standard costing variance analysis inventory valuation.
Monitor and control production costs raw materials and factory overheads.
Lead budgeting forecasting and cash flow management at entity and group level.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations (SST corporate tax withholding tax) and statutory filings.
Liaise with auditors tax agents bankers and regulators.
Strengthen internal controls SOPs and governance across the group.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decisions.
Supervise and mentor finance/accounting team members.
Support ad hoc finance projects (system improvements audits new product lines).
Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance; professional qualification (ACCA CPA MIA CIMA) preferred.
58 years relevant experience including 23 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of MFRS.
Handson experience in group consolidation (P&L balance sheet intercompany eliminations).
Proven background in manufacturing/factory accounting (costing inventory production).
FMCG/consumer goods exposure is an advantage.
Proficiency in accounting software (AutoCount SQL Accounting SAP or similar) and Excel; consolidation tools a plus.
Strong analytical organizational and problemsolving skills.
High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities/entities.
Effective communication skills; able to work crossfunctionally.
Willingness to relocate to Rawang in Q3 2027.
Malaysian citizen or valid work permit holder.
