Job Summary
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Responsible for follow-up with Departments to gather data and analyse CAPEX/ OPEX spending.
- Responsible for update the financial rolling forecast in the monthly and quarterly basis to meet the Global FP&A Schedule with higher level of FCST accuracy.
- In-charged of prepare FCST number into MMRP/COGNOS IBM following the timeline.
- Do Ad-hoc analysis OPEX spending for other P&L simulation Purposes.
Financial Analysis & Budget Control
- Tracking details expenses OPEX by nature of expenses and by department and do variance analysis against Budget.
- Prepare the monthly OPEX (i.e. Unbudgeted/Exceed) to highlight each department.
- Track the key related KPI (i.e. DL Hourly Rate Overtime Exceed budget) by Analyze the monthly Payroll.
- Reconcile the FCST or Actual Headcount (DL & IDL) and investigate the variance vs Plan or Latest FCST for the proper update in FCST Headcount.
Inventory Management & Costing
- Conduct mass product costing run and variance analysis before getting approval.
- Handle all costing requests for NPD & NPI by coordinating with stakeholders (R&D sourcing engineering etc.) throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct inventory provision checks and partner with stakeholders to reduce the risks of excess and obsolescence.
- Analysis the material master and costing to support control a high level of accuracy in SAP costing and inventory.
Month-end closing
- Reconcile Shipment value COGS Output and Assembly revenue to detect error (i.e. missing price mismatch qty Shipment value and COGS qty wrong STO price) to do month-end;
- Run Inventory WIP Production Settlement WIP Aging report and prepare journal entry for area relating to WIP Inventory;
- Analysis GL account relating to COGS (Scrap internal usage consumable tooling) to check and propose adjustment (if needed);
- Review the Monthly OPEX Spending Open Purchase Requisition Purchase Order for OPEX accrual;
Other Responsibilities
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by superiors or management contributing to continuous financial improvement and governance.
Qualifications :
Education
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics or Accounting from a recognized university.
Experience:
- 2 years experiences with audit firms or 4 years experience in manufacturing industries.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel including advanced spreadsheet functions for financial modeling and analysis.
- Fluent in English both written and verbal with strong communication skills.
- Experience with SAP or ERP systems in a finance or operations context.
- Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query is a strong advantage for data visualization and reporting.
