Facilities Manager
Job Summary
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
1. FACILITY OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE
Manage daily operations of all facilities including utilities buildings and equipment.
Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
Ensure all mechanical electrical plumbing (MEP) HVAC and fire protection systems are functioning properly.
Monitor building performance and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
2 . IFM (INTEGRATED FACILITIES MANAGEMENT) OVERSIGHT
Manage IFM partner/company responsible for:
Soft services (cleaning landscaping pest control)
Hard services (building maintenance M&E support)
Review and ensure IFM performance meets KPIs SLAs and contract obligations.
Conduct monthly performance reviews and annual contract evaluation.
Coordinate escalation corrective actions and service improvement plans.
Ensure IFM practices meet safety quality and compliance requirements
3. Project & Expansion Management
Lead facilities projects including cleanroom expansion tool hook-ups and system upgrades.
Plan budget review tender documents and supervise contractors.
Support commissioning FAT/SAT and turnover to operations.
4. EHS
Ensure all operations comply with DOSH DOE Bomba and other local regulations.
Perform HIRARC chemical/gas safety assessments and safety audits.
5. Vendor & Contractor Management
Manage external vendors for utilities equipment servicing and major projects.
Evaluate vendor performance and manage service contracts.
Ensure timely resolution of issues and quality workmanship.
6. Energy Management
Drive energy efficiency and sustainability projects.
Prepare annual facility budget and cost forecasts.
Monitor and optimize usage of electricity water gases and other resources.
Requirement
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
10 years experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing.
Prior experience managing IFM or large outsourced facility teams is preferred.
Strong knowledge of cleanroom operations and critical utilities.
