Role Summary
Responsible for the safe reliable operation of data centre facilities and critical infrastructure supporting 24/7 operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operation of data centre facilities
Oversee critical systems (power cooling UPS generators fire systems)
Plan and manage preventive and reactive maintenance
Supervise contractors and service providers
Respond to incidents alarms and outages as required
Ensure compliance with health safety and regulatory standards
Maintain operational logs reports and documentation
Support 24/7 operational availability of the data centre
Provide out-of-hours support for incidents maintenance and emergencies
Requirements
Degree holder in engineering field
5 years or more experience in a similar role within a data centre or critical environment
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Comfortable working in a 24/7 mission-critical setting
