The Eng Technician II at Honeywell Aerospace Malaysia Sdn Bhd will be responsible for maintenance calibration and repair of all Test equipment used in manufacturing processes of Avionics products. This role requires a skilled technician with a strong background in electrical systems as well as experience in test equipment hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting. You will ensure that all Testing equipment operates efficiently and meets the necessary regulatory and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Equipment Preventive Maintenance Schedules and Executions
  • Diagnosing and Troubleshooting Test Equipment challenges or issues
  • Calibration and Testing of Instrument Measurement Test Equipment
  • Documentation and Compliance on maintenance calibration and repairs
  • Technical Support and Guidance within Engineering and Manufacturing
  • Proactive support for Test Equipment Obsolescence maintenance upgrades
  • Strong collaboration with Engineering teams to enhance efficiency of Testers
  • Maintain the healthy inventory of spare test equipment by repairs/purchases


Responsibilities

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Electronics or related Engineering.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in Test equipment maintenance/repairs.
  • Adequate skills of usage & maintenance of various Test equipment types.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. IPC COMPTIA A) are added advantages.
  • Technical knowledge about Electrical or Electronic Test systems.
  • Familiar about Test Equipment diagnostics tools & troubleshooting.
  • Failure Analysis to fix Test Equipment hardware issues independently.
  • Adequate written/verbal communication for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime as required based on demand.
  • Physical ability to be able to lift and move the Equipment and tools as needed.
  • Building strong relationships with engineering contacts and Operations teams.
