Drilling Superintendent

Project Assignment: Supporting Onshore & Offshore Drilling Operations in Oman

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Drilling Superintendent to lead the planning coordination and execution of drilling operations for an international upstream oil & gas project. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership ensure operational excellence and oversee drilling activities from planning through execution while supporting operations in Oman.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead drilling operations to ensure safe efficient and cost-effective project execution.
• Review drilling programs operational procedures and well plans.
• Coordinate drilling activities with contractors service providers and project teams.
• Monitor operational performance and resolve drilling-related challenges.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Manage drilling resources equipment materials and operational schedules.
• Support incident investigations and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor drilling engineers and provide technical guidance throughout project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years experience as a Drilling Superintendent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in deepwater drilling operations.
• Valid IWCF Level 4 certification.
• Strong leadership planning and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Willing to travel and support operations in Oman.
