Job Summary
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Design Engineer in Malaysia. - Prepare design calculations for steel structures and connections.
- Develop temporary and permanent structural design solutions.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers for design implementation.

- Review structural drawings and engineering calculations.
- Support engineering project execution activities.
- Maintain compliance with engineering procedures and standards.

- Structural Design Ability to design steel structures and connections.
- Engineering Calculations Experience preparing accurate structural calculations.
- AutoCAD / Drafting Coordination Working with drawings and design documents.
- Project Coordination Collaborating with project and engineering teams.
- Vendor Management Coordinating with external design consultants.
- STAAD Pro / ETABS knowledge

Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks. Proficiency in creating 3D models Piping Isometrics GA drawings and Piping -depth knowledge of Piping BOM MTO and Piping Material Specifications (PMS). Familiarity with piping support systems and basic understanding of stress analysis. Solid understanding of P&ID for boilers and power plants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions. Strong leadership abilities to manage and guide a team towards successful project completion.
Required Education:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (BE) with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design stream.
