Job Summary We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Deputy Finance Manager to lead financial reporting and accounting this role you will be instrumental in overseeing regulatory compliance taxation and the consolidation process across multiple legal entities while effectively managing and guiding a dedicated accounting team to deliver accurate timely management information for strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily accounting operations ensuring the timely preparation of management accounts and strict compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

  • Oversee the financial consolidation process for multiple legal entities including the management of intercompany transactions and elimination entries.

  • Supervise and mentor the accounts department staff coordinating daily activities to ensure smooth operations and high-quality deliverables.

  • Manage all external audits and taxation mattersincluding direct corporate taxes and indirect taxes (SST import duties and customs audits)acting as the primary liaison with auditors and tax agents.

  • Review and approve essential financial records including journal vouchers invoices full sets of financial statements (balance sheet P&L cash flow) and operational reports (AP AR fixed assets and bank reconciliations).

  • Drive the month-end and year-end closing processes including the calculation of provisional and deferred taxes for annual audits.

  • Ensure full tax compliance by facilitating the submission of CP204 CP204A and annual tax returns.

  • Provide accurate timely and actionable management reporting to support leadership in business decision-making.

  • Support the wider team and undertake ad-hoc financial assignments as directed by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant accounting/finance experience accompanied by at least 3 years in a people management or supervisory role.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities supported by a strong understanding of business processes and systems optimization.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to collaborate and interact with stakeholders across all levels of management.
