The Position

The Delivery Services Manager leads the delivery and operational continuity of digital solutions supporting Pharma Technical Development (PTD) systems transitioning to RDT this role you will own the end-to-end delivery management of a portfolio of GMP and non-GMP applications ensuring service stability compliance readiness and stakeholder alignment throughout the knowledge transfer and steady-state operations. You will also act as IT Product Owner for your assigned systems bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution. Depending on the organizations needs you may operate within role archetypes such as: Service Manager Delivery Service Manager and Technical Product Owner.

The Opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Delivery & Service Ownership: Lead the end-to-end delivery and operational management of assigned PTD systems including GMP-critical applications clinical manufacturing solutions at the intersection of process development and manufacturing ensuring continuity compliance and performance throughout and after the transition from PTD to RDT TechOps.

  • IT Product Ownership: Act as IT Product Owner for assigned systems defining and prioritizing the product backlog managing vendor relationships and ensuring delivery is aligned with business value and regulatory requirements.

  • GMP Compliance Awareness: Operate with a strong understanding of GMP-regulated environments ensuring that all delivery activities system changes and documentation practices meet applicable quality and compliance standards.

  • Knowledge Transfer Leadership: Drive structured knowledge transition from outgoing PTD resources ensuring documentation runbooks and operating procedures are captured and validated before go-live.

  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with PTD business stakeholders TechOps leadership MSP vendors and RDT product teams acting as the primary point of contact for your assigned systems.

  • Vendor & MSP Coordination: Manage third-party service providers and system integrator partners supporting your portfolio ensuring SLA adherence and value delivery.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive process improvements across delivery operations contributing to the maturity of the broader RDT TechOps model.

  • Agile Execution: Apply Agile methodologies to manage delivery cadence facilitate ceremonies and maintain transparency across workstreams.

Who you are

You are a delivery-oriented professional with a hands-on approach and a passion for operational excellence in regulated digital environments. You bring:

  • Proven experience in a Delivery Management or Service Management role ideally within a pharmaceutical life sciences or regulated industry context.

  • A University degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Information Technology Life Sciences Business Administration or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience managing GMP or GxP-regulated systems with an understanding of validation requirements and change control processes.

  • Strong IT Product Owner capabilities including backlog management stakeholder prioritization and vendor governance.

  • Experience managing third-party technology providers and system integrator partners.

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive decisions in complex environments.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across organizational boundaries and seniority levels.

  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and delivery methodologies (Scrum SAFe or equivalent).

  • Full professional fluency in English.
