Role Summary
We are seeking an experiencedData Migration Lead/Senior Consultantto manage and deliver endtoend data migration activities for large-scale transformation programs within the capital markets domain.
This roleis responsible fordefining migration strategy overseeing data extraction transformation reconciliation and ensuring data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle. You will work closely with business technology and vendor teams to ensure seamless data transition with minimal disruption to operations.
- Define and lead the overall data migration strategy approach and execution plan
- Manage endtoend migration activities including data extraction transformation and loading (ETL)
- Oversee data discovery profiling and mapping ensuring alignment between source and target systems
- Ensure data quality integrity and completeness through validation and reconciliation processes
- Plan and manage migration test cycles including dry runs mock migrations and production readiness
- Coordinate with business technology and vendor teams to manage dependencies and deliverables
- Identify and mitigate data risks issues and inconsistencies throughout the migration lifecycle
- Establish and enforce data migration governance standards and documentation
- Support cutover planning and execution ensuring smooth transition to production
- Oversee post-migration validation and stabilization including issue resolution and business sign-off
- 812 years of experience indata migration / data management roles.
- Proven experience leadinglarge-scale system migration or transformation programs in banking financial services capital market domain is a must.
- StrongexpertiseinETL processes and data migration frameworks
- Experience handlingcomplex high-volume data environments
- Strong knowledge ofdata validation reconciliation and data quality management
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in complex delivery environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Technical Skills (Preferred)
- Experience with ETL tools (e.g. Informatica Talend DataStage SSIS)
- Strong SQL and data querying skills
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. Oracle SQL Server)
- Experience with data migration automation and scripting
- Understanding of cloud or modern data platforms (optional advantage)
