Were looking for a Commis Chef to join our Culinary Division and support kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.

Job Summary

• Maintains high standards of food preparation and service in the appointed kitchen(s) according to the standards set by the Management.
• Responsible for works assigned by supervisors such as mise-en-place as well as buffet set-up.
• Dedicated committed and passionate about culinary work.
• Customer-oriented with a positive attitude towards guest satisfaction and food quality.
• Willing to support the team and contribute positively to daily kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cooking experience in a kitchen environment.
• Able to converse in English; additional language skills will be an advantage.
• Physically fit and healthy with the ability to stand for long periods and perform kitchen duties effectively.
• Hardworking proactive and willing to learn new skills and techniques.
• Able to follow instructions receptive to guidance and willing to accept feedback from supervisors and chefs.
• Flexible and willing to work according to operational requirements including extended hours when required.
• Friendly approachable and able to create good working relationships with colleagues.
• Willing to work shifts weekends and public holidays if required.
• Due to local immigration policies only Malaysian will be considered.
