Civil Engineer

What will you do

In this position you will play an integral part of supporting theCivil & Structuraldivision and its success whilst establishing best ofCivilEngineeringpractices.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our worlds economic development and its the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to bring ideas to life.

• To perform or initiate conceptual basic design and detail design calculation and drawings.Prepare and review technical drawings specifications method statements and other project documentation.

• To attendsitemeetings and carry out design coordination with clients consultants authorities and contractors.

• Toprovide technical knowledge during tendered and project procurement. Liaison between sub-contractors and the sire mainly on civil works.

• Ensure compliance with project Design Criteria/ Client Brief/ Approved Concept/ relevant design standards and office standards.Ability to read and understand project-related drawings is an added advantage.

• Any other duties as and when assigned from time to time by the superior/team leader.

What can you bring to the team

Firstly you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need thefollowing:

• Possess aBachelorsDegree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Registered with BEMis mandatory.

• Minimum3-5years working experience in an engineering consulting firm.

• Experienced in infrastructural design for earthworks road & drainage water and sewerage

• Able to work independently and under pressure with minimum supervision.

• Familiar with popular design software hands-on experience in analysing results from technical software; working knowledge in Civil 3D would be an added advantage.

• Good communication skills in spoken and written English.
