Chef Wok Chef [Full-Time Mandarin Speaker]

Jobs Kreate is hiring a full-time Chef / Wok Chef on behalf of our client for a restaurant located at Sunway Square Mall Selangor.

We are looking for an experienced chef who is skilled in wok cooking and can prepare food consistently according to the restaurants recipes quality standards and hygiene requirements.

• Prepare fried rice wok-fried dishes and other menu items according to standard recipes.
• Ensure consistent food quality taste portion size and presentation.
• Complete food preparation and mise en place before each service period.
• Operate wok stations and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor cooking times and coordinate orders during busy service periods.
• Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations.
• Follow food safety hygiene and halal-handling requirements.
• Monitor kitchen stock and inform the supervisor when replenishment is required.
• Minimise food wastage and control ingredient usage.
• Assist with receiving storing and rotating food supplies.
• Support the kitchen team in daily opening and closing duties.
• Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the management.

• Malaysian citizen only.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience as a Chef Wok Chef or in a similar kitchen position.
• Experience preparing Chinese-style wok dishes or fried rice is preferred.
• Able to handle a wok confidently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin English or Malay.
• Knowledge of food safety hygiene and proper ingredient storage.
• Able to follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality.
• Responsible punctual and able to work well with the kitchen team.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Willing to work shifts weekends and public holidays.
• Full-time position only.

• Basic salary: RM3000 per month
• RM150 monthly full-attendance allowance
