Were Hiring: Business Development Manager!
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive our clients growth initiatives in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. You will lead new business development with schools and transport operators and serve as the connector between market needs and the technical team building the platform starting in Malaysia with plans to expand regionally.
Location: Kuala Lumpur Malaysia
Work Mode: Work from Office
Remuneration: RM 5000 - RM 8000
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive commercial growth while contributing to product direction
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and client meetings through pitches demos proposals and closing
- Translate real needs from schools operators and parents into clear product input keeping development aligned with what the market actually wants
- Monitor how the app and operations are performing flag gaps and support new accounts through onboarding
- Represent the company at external meetings pitches demos and industry events
- Work closely with the CEO on key strategic decisions
Requirements:
- 25 years in business development sales partnerships or another client-facing commercial role
- Genuine comfort with software products able to hold credible conversations with developers and confidently run a platform demo (no coding needed)
- Adaptability suited to early-stage environments comfortable with ambiguity wearing multiple hats and building something from the ground up
- Strong communication skills; confident leading meetings and pitches with school leadership and business owners
- Based in or able to work from the Klang Valley with willingness to travel
- Experience in SaaS mobility logistics or edtech or selling into schools/education.
- Cross-functional exposure across sales product and operations.
- Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin for the local market.
- An existing network in education or transport.
