About the role

The Associate Procurement Manager is responsible for sourcing capital equipment and related services (CAPEX/OPEX) in support of Dysons manufacturing plans. The role operates with a high level of autonomy applying strong analytical capability and commercial judgement to cost modelling supplier negotiation and procurement execution.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading endtoend equipment sourcing projects to meet business cost quality and timeline requirements.

• Defining and executing strategic and tactical costreduction initiatives across equipment spend.

• Developing negotiation strategies and leading commercial discussions to achieve optimal pricing terms and supply arrangements.

• Analysing full equipment cost structures building cost models and ensuring data accuracy to support budgeting forecasting and total cost of ownership.

• Reviewing and validating purchase requests for compliance completeness and alignment with company policies.

• Approving purchases within authorised spend thresholds and maintaining accurate procurement documentation.

• Managing multiple concurrent procurement projects and priorities ensuring ontime inbudget delivery.

• Proactively engaging internal stakeholders to align on requirements priorities and project progress.

• Building strong supplier relationships managing performance risk quality issues and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Maintaining auditready documentation and compliance within procurement systems (e.g. SAP Ariba).

• Supporting crossfunctional process improvement and other procurement initiatives as required.

About you

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chain Management Business Industrial Management or a related field

• 5 years of working experience in procurement sourcing supply chain engineering support or project coordination

• Exposure to equipment procurement capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects OPEX manufacturing operations or engineering environments is an advantage

• Experience working with ERP / procurement systems (SAP Ariba preferred).

• Proven experience leading supplier negotiations and managing complex procurement projects.

• Basic understanding of mechanical electrical or automation equipment used in manufacturing environments

• Ability to read and interpret equipment specifications drawings datasheets and quotations

• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to cost accuracy and detail.

• Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fastpaced environment.

• Proactive structured and able to operate independently with sound judgement.
