About the Role & Team

The Event Associate Attendee Acquisition will play a key role in driving IDCs event audience strategy through data-led attendee recruitment end-to-end event execution and stakeholder engagement. This role will require strong project management audience development expertise and an understanding of event marketing dynamics to ensure each IDC event delivers exceptional participation quality relevance and experience.

What Youll Do

  • Manage the complete attendee recruitment lifecycle from strategy to outreach conversion and onsite engagement.
  • Oversee and maintain data accuracy segmentation and audience insights to improve recruitment quality.
  • Lead outreach campaigns targeting senior IT and business decision-makers across industries.
  • Recruit and manage advisory council members and end-user speakers ensuring diversity and thought leadership alignment.
  • Identify and grow new audience segments and contacts through digital and direct channels.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing content and operations teams to align messaging timelines and engagement goals.
  • Track analyze and report recruitment metrics to optimize campaign performance and ROI.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy standards in all audience activities.

What You Bring

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or Business Administration (Masters preferred).
  • 23 years of experience in event marketing audience recruitment or delegate acquisition.
  • Proven ability to execute multi-channel attendee recruitment campaigns (email telemarketing digital).
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools (Cvent Salesforce HubSpot Marketo or similar).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills especially in managing senior-level speakers and advisory members.
  • Strong data orientation and ability to interpret analytics for decision-making.
  • Results-driven organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Travel: Up to 40% for event support and onsite execution.
  • Work Model: Hybrid.
