Job Description & Summary

The Digital Audit Associate supports the delivery of digital audit engagements as part of the Assurance practice. The role involves assessing technology-related risks and controls within client environments including applications infrastructure cloud platforms and business processes.

The Associate will work closely with engagement teams to document systems and processes perform control testing analyse findings and prepare audit documentation in accordance with firm methodologies and professional standards. This role provides exposure to a broad range of industries technologies and audit approaches and offers opportunities to develop technical business and professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate willbe responsible forthe following:

  • Support the execution of digital audit engagements for clients across a range of industries.

  • Assistin obtaining an understanding of client business processes IT environmentssystemsand relevant control frameworks.

  • Document process flows systemlandscapesand control activities accurately and clearly.

  • Perform risk assessments toidentifyrelevant technology and business process risks.

  • Execute testing of ITGeneralControls(ITGCs) automated controls applicationcontrolsand other technology-related controlsin accordance withengagement requirements.

  • Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls andidentifyexceptions or control deficiencies.

  • Prepare audit working papers and supporting documentation ina timelyandaccuratemanner in line with firm standards.

  • Assist insummarisingfindings draftingobservationsand communicating issues to engagement team members.

  • Analysedata and information using approved tools auditmethodologiesand analytical techniques.

  • Work collaboratively with engagement teams including financial audit teams and technology specialists to support auditobjectives.

  • Build andmaintaineffective working relationships with internal teams and client personnel.

  • Comply withthe firms risk management independenceconfidentialityand quality requirements.

  • Maintain awareness of current developments in technology digitalriskand audit practices.

  • Demonstrate professional conduct and uphold the firms code of ethics and business conduct.

Requirements

Candidates should meet the followingminimumrequirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Accountancy Information Technology Computer Science Computer Engineering InformationSystemsor other related disciplines.

  • Candidates from other academic backgrounds may be considered if theydemonstratea strong interest in technology digitalriskand audit.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Ability to work effectively in teams and build positive working relationships with colleagues and clients.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced professional environment.

  • Basic understanding of business processes informationsystemsor internal controls would beadvantageous.
