Build your Career with an Industry Leaderat our Shared Services Centrein a global leader in premium label solutions our purpose is to deliver the worlds best label solutions that help our customers build their brands while adding value to our employees our shareholders and the communities in which we you share our vision and believe that you could contribute to the success of our company we look forward to hearing from you!Job HighlightsHybrid Working ArrangementConducive Working EnvironmentLearning & DevelopmentJob Responsibilities:Team DevelopmentPromote standardization and eliminate duplication of work in FA & Leases team and provide guidance to solve open items and problematic team competencies including coach develop and train team KPI for process flow and define action plans to achieve Asset Accounting Lead and oversee fixed asset accounting operations ensuring compliance with US GAAP local statutory requirements and company and approve fixed asset transactions capitalizations disposals transfers and depreciation postings to ensure accuracy and the migration and stabilization of fixed asset accounting activities into the Shared Services Center driving standardization and process effective governance over CAPEX and Approval for Expenditure (AFE) processes including monitoring compliance and strengthening internal and develop the team while partnering with stakeholders auditors and business units to support month-end close audits and continuous improvement AccountingLead the end-to-end lease accounting function ensuring compliance with IFRS 16 and company policies across all lease transactions and reporting and approve the accounting treatment for new leases modifications renewals terminations and reassessments ensuring accurate lease data the preparation and review of monthly lease journals reconciliations and reporting for lease liabilities right-of-use (ROU) assets interest expense and month-end close statutory reporting and audit requirements ensuring timely delivery strong internal controls and high-quality financial process improvements system enhancements and team development while partnering with Finance Property Legal and external stakeholders to optimize lease accounting -End CloseEnsure timely completion of US GAAP and local statutory depreciation processes in accordance with service level with the Local Controller to ensure timely closure of fixed assets accounts supporting the financial close month-end journals in accordance with company accounting policies ensuring compliance with local and US accounting standards and timely accurate and complete updates in the monthly Hyperion roll forward data form to support corporate monthly Reporting Internal & ExternalAttain familiarity with Company accounting policies and all applicable GAAP / accounting standards / tax laws and familiarity with available reports from Radius SAP Hyperion or any accounting or ERP system used by Company and support local business unit Controller with GL account and discuss with local business unit Controller on procedures to clear aged items in balance sheet the audit process by managing expectations and providing schedules on a timely any other duties as assigned by the Team Manager and/or Team Requirements:Degree in Accounting/Finance Business Administration or equivalent with professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA/MIA).Fluent in both spoken and written strong interpersonal and communication analytical and problem-solving skills to identify the root cause of issues and implement corrective actionsAble to multi-task pay attention to details thrives in fast-paced who has Shared Services Centre (SSC) experience is an added applicants who can legally live and work in Malaysia will be considered
