Assistant Manager Human Resources
Job Summary
- Support employee relations and industrial relations matters by providing guidance on HR policies employment legislation and company practices.
- Partner closely with managers and supervisors to ensure consistent implementation of HR policies and employee engagement initiatives.
- Manage employee grievances disciplinary matters domestic inquiries and performance improvement processes professionally and effectively.
- Conduct investigations related to employee misconduct and support compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate employee communication programs engagement activities and feedback initiatives to strengthen workplace culture and employee experience.
- Support learning and development initiatives including training coordination HRDF claims learning systems administration and training dashboard updates.
- Assist in internal and external audit activities including preparation of audit documentation and compliance support.
- Participate in HR administrative activities and company committees to support continuous improvement and organizational initiatives.
- You are a proactive and people-oriented HR professional who builds collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization. You communicate effectively handle sensitive matters with professionalism and demonstrate strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. You are adaptable resourceful and committed to driving positive employee experiences while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Employee Relations and Industrial Relations.
- Sound knowledge of Employment Act Industrial Relations Act and applicable labor legislation.
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee matters with professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and interact with employees at all levels.
- Experience handling IR-related investigations disciplinary processes and domestic inquiries.
- Exposure to learning management systems such as Oracle Learning.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and audit processes.
- Experience in manufacturing or multinational company environments.
- Strong analytical and continuous improvement mindset.
