Assistant HR Manager
Job Summary
Industry : Automotive Recycling Centre
The Assistant HR Manager will independently manage the full HR function for Car Medic supporting Management and HODs across people performance compliance and day-to-day HR operations.
As a sole contributor this role requires someone who is hands-on business-minded resourceful and digitally savvy with the ability to leverage AI and technology to improve HR efficiency and decision-making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage full-spectrum HR including recruitment onboarding probation performance employee relations payroll coordination benefits and offboarding.
- Partner with Management and HODs on manpower planning people issues and performance matters.
- Drive recruitment and build talent pipelines for key and recurring roles.
- Manage employee grievances disciplinary matters counselling and PIP processes with proper documentation and follow-through.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment legislation statutory requirements and Company policies.
- Maintain accurate HR records policies SOPs employee documentation and HR trackers.
- Coordinate training employee engagement and development initiatives.
- Prepare HR reports and dashboards covering headcount turnover recruitment attendance and performance.
- Leverage AI and digital tools for recruitment HR reporting communication documentation data analysis and workflow improvement.
- Continuously improve and simplify HR processes to build a more efficient and effective HR function.
REQUIREMENTS
- 58 years of full-spectrum HR experience.
- Strong exposure to recruitment employee relations performance management and HR operations.
- Good knowledge of Malaysian employment practices.
- Able to work independently in a lean or sole-contributor HR environment.
- Strong communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using AI and digital tools to improve productivity.
- High level of ownership integrity and confidentiality.

Required Education:
Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management
