Oversee the timely preparation of management accounts and reports ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
Lead and manage accounting operations including audit taxation and SST matters while coordinating with auditors and tax agents.
Drive the consolidation process across multiple entities handling intercompany transactions elimination entries and preparing consolidated management reports.
Supervise daily activities of the accounts team providing guidance and support to staff.
Review and approve journal vouchers invoices reconciliations and supporting schedules.
Ensure adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in financial statement preparation.
Analyze and review key financial statements including balance sheet P&L and cash flow.
Monitor operational reports (AP AR FA bank reconciliations etc.) and oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
Provide direction to clerical staff resolving queries and coordinating tasks.
Manage indirect tax matters such as SST import duties and customs audits.
Support tax compliance including CP204 CP204A annual submissions and calculation of provisional and deferred tax.
Deliver accurate and timely management information to support decision-making.
Undertake ad-hoc assignments as required by management.
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting with at least 8 years of experience including 3 years in a supervisory role.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with sound knowledge of business processes and system optimization.
Confident communicator able to engage effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
