Assistant Finance Manager

YOUR TASKS:

• Responsible for preparation of monthly accounting entries and reconciliations for intercompany balances accounts receivables and other ancillary balance sheet accounts.

• Prepare and review foreign exchange translation journal entries to ensure accurate consolidation.

• Assist in the preparation of investor reports and consolidated financial statements.

• Ensure Timely submission & reporting of Monthly Quarterly & Yearly Management Accounts

• Review and monitor the health of financial and KPIs compliance for the Hong Kong entities groups of companies in charge.

• Coordinate with local accounting firms for financial reporting and tax filling of Taiwan and Japan entities.

• Manage and forecast cash flow to support operational and strategic needs.

• Handle payment management and process client billings on a timely basis.

• Review product costing and profit margins.

• Maintain internal control compliance and inventory review documentation and financial processes

• Lead & supervise the finance team to fulfil the jobs responsibilities & meet KPIs.

• Ensure the Finance team assists with on-going cost saving projects including identification monitoring and analysing financial efficiencies.

• Participate in Business Risk Management & Strategic Planning & Execution

• Handle all matters related to tax audit company secretarial requirements banking and treasury operations.

• Attend to banking and treasury matters

• Undertake other ad hoc duties as at when is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Finance and Accounting or an equivalent qualification

• Good written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin. Mandarin skills are required due to the need to liaise with Mandarin-speaking employees and clients.

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis

• Result oriented and detail minded person.

• Hands on and self-motivated person

• Independent and strong sense of responsibility

• Able to work under pressure and hardworking.

• Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into valuable information.

• Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners.

• Excellent business judgment analytical and decision-making skills

• Knowledge of financial reporting and understanding of HKFRS and IFRS

• Strong demonstrated use of Excel Word and PowerPoint
