Whatsthe role

Shell Aviationisa leading global supplier of aviation fuels and lubricantswith over 100 years of industry experience. Operating at approximately 800 airports in over 40 countries it providesfuelingservices for airlines private operators and airports. The company also offers technical consultancyrefuelingsystems and sustainable aviation solutions. In Malaysia Shell Aviationoperatein 7 locationsin KUL&PEN(West Malaysia)andKCH MYY LBU BKI&TWU(East Malaysia)with more than 200-250aircraftsrefueledper day.

Whatyoullbe doing

Safe Reliable & Efficient Operations

  • Support Site Manage and responsiblefor daytoday aviationfuelingoperations atKCH MYY LBU BKI TWUin line with Shell Aviation OperationsManual (SAOM) Joint Inspection Group (JIG) standard and local regulatory requirements.

  • Ensure continuity of fuel supply to airline customers through safe operation of fixed installations refuellersandbowsers.

  • Implement and maintain SAV systems and other Shellapproved systemssuch asShell Performance Framework (SPF)SEAMandothers.

  • Ensure operational readinessandmaintaineffectivenessduring peak demand disruptionsemergenciesor special operations.

  • Supporteffective cost management including budget planningexpenditure trackingOPEXoptimizationand financial accountability.

  • Ensure collaborationwithShell Airport Optimizer (AO)andTrading & Supply (T&S)by providingaccurateDemand/Forecast (DF) for continuous supply without any disruption tocustomers.

HSSE& EthicsLeadership

  • Provide visible and authentic HSSE leadership in linewith Goal ZeroShell LifeSaving Rules(LSR) and Process Safety Fundamental (PSF).

  • Supportsite HSSE activitiesincludetoolbox talksmeetingsite inspections safety leadershipvisitsand field coaching.

  • Supportandmaintainthe Site HSSE Plan and Emergency Response Plan (ERP) ensuring regular drills and coordination with airport emergency services.

  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure consistent application of critical controls and PPE requirements.

  • Supervise Permit to Work activities for non-routine activities on site ensuring compliancewithPermit to Work(PTW)procedures.

  • Ensure implementation of Shell Security standards including maintenance of the Site Security Risk Assessment (SRA)

  • Coordinate with airport security and relevant authorities on securityrelated matters.

  • Support andmaintainsitelevel risk management including HEMP HRA and SRA assessments.

  • Ensure all incidents near misses and unsafe conditions are reported investigated and learned from.

  • Supportandmaintainthe Management of Change (MoC) process and register ensuring risks areassessedand approvals obtained prior to implementation.

  • Supportand implement Shell Ethics & Compliance with all team members including internal and external stakeholders.

Compliance Governance & Assurance

  • Complianceto Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM)Malaysia AirportsHoldings Berhad (MAHB)Department of Occupational Safety and Health(DOSH)Department of Environment(DOE)and otherauthorities.

  • Maintain Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM) license requirement andsupportfor renewalprocessfor ShellTimurSdnBhd.

  • Ensure ShellEmergency Response Plan (ERP) aligned withAirportEmergency Response Plan (AERP) andFire andRescueServices(AFRS)

  • Ensure all Shell Aviation procedures work instructions and control frameworks are implemented and followed.

  • Maintainaccuraterecords and operational dataincluding License & Permit(L&P)in Shellapproved systemssuch asi6MaintainX FieldglassWorkdayLearningand others.

  • Support Site Managerforinternal audits externalinspectionsand regulatory assurance activities.

  • Ensuretimelycloseoutof audit findings incidents and corrective actions.

  • Monitor andmaintainoperator competence fitnesstodrive (Airport Driving Pass & Airport Pass) licensing and vehicle compliance.

People Leadership Competency& Capability Management

  • Support manage and developKCH MYY LBU BKI TWUoperations team including operators and contractors.

  • Implementthemost effective duty roasterandmonitorthe workloadtoavoid fatigue.

  • Determinemanpowerrequirements and succession planning in collaboration withCountryOperationsManager.

  • Ensure all staff meet competency licensingFitness to Work (FTW)and training requirementsasrequired by Shell and local authorities.

  • Foster a disciplinedinclusiveand highperformance team culture aligned with Shell values.

  • Ability to drive a culture of Operational Discipline care forpeopleand continuous improvement.

  • Build trust andmaintainexcellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g.internal partners third party operators suppliers local authorities government agencies etc.).

Asset IntegrityMaintenance& ProjectManagement

  • Responsiblefor the integrity availability and reliability of all aviationfuelingassets atKCH MYY LBU BKI TWU.

  • Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is executedin accordance withmanufacturer guidelines ShellAviationMaintenanceManual (SAMM)and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage maintenance activities conducted by qualified personnel orShellapproved contractors.

  • Maintainhigh standardsof housekeeping equipmentconditionand site cleanliness.

  • Supervise execution of the maintenance plan for the site. Conduct surveillance inspections. Ensure corrective actions are implemented. Ensure maintenance of HSSE critical equipment. Ensure quality andtimelyexecution of the Reliability and Integrity Program for the site.

  • Ensure integrity and functionality of safetycritical systems such as interlocks nozzle selectivity and underwing fueling protections.

  • Develop andestablishsite-specific local operating procedures for site safety critical tasks.

  • Work closely with theHSSE &EngineeringLeadand Business Opportunity Manager (BOM) on transformation programswith fullsupportofCAPEX implementation including participationin preparationof3 mainpillarsof project management which are scope cost and scheduleasPermit Issuerand contributor to JHA/JMS reviews.

Stock Control & Product Quality

  • Responsiblefor fuel quantityqualityand product integrity at sitebymaintainingproduct quality documents.

  • Ensureaccuratedailymonthlyand annual stock reconciliations.

  • Investigate and report stock gains or losses with corrective actions.

  • Ensure calibration of tanksmetersand gauging systemsbymaintainingvalid calibration certificates.

  • Ensure hazardous andnonhazardous waste is managedstoredand disposed of in compliance with legal and Shell requirements.

  • Operation hours:18-22hours/7daysper week

  • Number of refueling:50-80aircraftper day

Whatyou bring

  • Minimum5years experience in Operation Asset Management Maintenance and Process Safety.

  • MinimumDiploma in Engineering Science or Business(previouswork experience will be taken into consideration for any candidates who might not meet the educational standard).

  • Experience with aviation fueling systems or fuel farm operations is highly preferred but not compulsory.

  • Skilled in operations and has a sound understanding of the keyleversfor safecompliantand efficient operations.

  • Proven leadership capability isa must.

  • Ability to influence without direct authority.

  • Self-starter well organizedindependentand proactive.

  • Possesses strong interpersonaloraland written communication skills
