Account Engineer (Operational)

As an Account Engineer (Operational) you will bridge the gap between engineering operations and customer requirements by ensuring product readiness accurate costing and BOM integrity. Additionally you have:

• Bachelors degree in engineering (Electronics Mechanical or related discipline).

• Minimum 23 years of relevant experience preferably in the EMS sector (PCBA & System Build).

• Strong understanding of product costing DFMEA/FMEA and BOM structures.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Detail-oriented analytical and organized with strong ownership over assigned products.

• Perform accurate cost price calculations to support project quotations and cost optimization.

• Support component engineering tasks including technical assessments.

• Act as product owner ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and customers.

• Manage and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) throughout the product lifecycle.

• Conduct initial feasibility studies including product DFMEA FMEA and control plan development.

• Coordinate feasibility studies on resource requirements with production planning and procurement teams.

• Support Tactical Account Engineers during New Product Introduction (NPI) phases.

• Ensure operational readiness and continuous improvement in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
