Network Architect

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Network Architect to provide on-demand subject matter expertise in network architecture and design. Operating within a complex enterprise-scale environment you will play a key role in assessing existing network infrastructures identifying areas for improvement and designing robust scalable solutions aligned with business and technical objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments of existing network environments identifying gaps risks and opportunities for optimisation
  
• Design and document network architecture solutions that meet performance security and scalability requirements
  
• Provide expert technical guidance to internal teams and stakeholders on architecture decisions and best practices
  
• Support the resolution of complex network issues ensuring minimal disruption to operations
  
• Contribute to network transformation initiatives including migrations upgrades and technology refreshes
  
• Advise on Cisco-based infrastructure design and integration within broader enterprise environments
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between network architecture and organisational goals
  

Profile

• Proven experience as a Network Architect in large-scale enterprise or managed services environments
  
• Deep expertise in network architecture principles design methodologies and infrastructure assessment
  
• Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies and solutions
  
• Experience supporting complex network transformations and change programmes
  
• Ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
  
• Fluent in English ; German is a strong advantage
