Job Summary

We are looking for a Client-Facing Functional Analyst to join a high-impact regulatory and tax transformation initiative within a leading international banking environment in Luxembourg.

Operating at the heart of the Payment Systems domain you will play a key role in shaping and modernizing critical banking processes while collaborating with business and technology stakeholders across multiple countries and disciplines.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong analytical capabilities with a deep understanding of banking payments and enjoys working in a dynamic client-oriented environment.

Requirements

Functional & Banking Expertise

Strong knowledge of banking payment systems:
- SEPA
- Credit Transfers
- Direct Debits
- Payment workflows
Good understanding of banking operations across front middle and back office
Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance constraints within payment environments

Technical & Methodological Skills

Proven experience writing functional specifications and business documentation
Comfortable working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and/or V-Model project delivery
Strong command of:
- JIRA
- Confluence
- Excel
- PowerPoint
Experience with process/modelling tools such as BPMN or UML
Ability to understand and analyse complex workflows interfaces and data flows
Good SQL knowledge for analysis and validation activities

Required Skills:
