SENIOR IT INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECT (FMD)

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join the IT Architects team and play a key role in defining and governing the group-wide enterprise infrastructure architecture strategy ensuring secure resilient cost-efficient and highly automated infrastructure platforms across Ignitis Group IT landscape. As a critical player in the energy sector we place strong emphasis on cyber resilience operational reliability services that support our strategic commitment to customers and national infrastructure continuity.

You will contribute to the creation of a green and secure energy ecosystem by:

• Defining and leading the enterprise infrastructure architecture strategy standards and roadmap across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments
• Defining secure-by-design infrastructure and security architecture principles ensuring cyber resilience operational continuity regulatory compliance and trusted digital services across critical energy infrastructure
• Driving the transition from traditional infrastructure to modern containerized and cloud-native platforms establishing secure scalable and resilient architecture patterns
• Defining and governing infrastructure security platform engineering Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation and observability standards including Zero Trust IAM segmentation hardening vulnerability management monitoring and platform protection controls
• Establishing resilient architecture patterns for high availability disaster recovery backup incident response and operational resilience
• Partnering with engineering DevOps SRE OT and cyber security teams to ensure infrastructure platforms enable secure reliable and efficient product delivery
• Defining reusable infrastructure patterns governance and best practices to ensure standardization scalability interoperability cyber resilience and cost-efficient infrastructure operations across the organization
• Providing architectural leadership during critical incidents infrastructure transformation initiatives and resilience improvement programs including hands-on technical validations and deep-dive reviews when required

Qualifications :

• 8 years of progressive experience transitioning from hands-on infrastructure engineering into enterprise infrastructure architecture
• Strong expertise in infrastructure architecture across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments including networking virtualization containers cloud-native platforms and automation tools such as Kubernetes Docker Terraform Ansible CI/CD monitoring and observability platforms
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure security architecture governance operational resilience and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001 NIS2 IAM Zero Trust)
• Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) environments and IT/OT integration principles including cyber resilience network segmentation secure access and operational continuity requirements within critical infrastructure environments
• Experience designing resilient scalable and highly available infrastructure platforms supporting critical or large-scale enterprise environments
• Ability to influence and align stakeholders even without formal authority ensuring infrastructure and cyber resilience initiatives result in practical implementation rather than theoretical concepts
• Strong sense of ownership and a proactive problem-solving mindset
• Fluency in English language (both speaking and writing)
