Senior Analytics Engineer (AI & Quality)

In an era where AI tools and distributed teams allow everyone across Bored Panda to generate fast insights data integrity is our ultimate competitive advantage. We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer (AI & Quality) to serve as the ultimate guardian of truth for our data moving past traditional dashboard churning to shape how our entire organization builds tests and trusts its analytics.

What You Will Do:

• Be the quality check on analytics company-wide: Review data work produced by other teams before it drives major decisionscatching shaky reasoning bad assumptions and conclusions the numbers dont actually support;

• Make that quality scale: Build automated test datasets reusable checks and guardrails so quality controls scale across the organization without creating manual bottlenecks;

• Take on the high-stakes analysis yourself: When a business question gets genuinely messy complex or high-risk youll own the analytical craft from start to finish;

• Own data quality at the source: Take accountability for upstream data quality and governance setting the standard for what correct data means across Bored Pandas global operations;

• Coach teams on data literacy: Mentor non-technical teams (especially Editorial) on how to responsibly leverage AI analytics tools frame questions and sanity-check their own outputs.

What We Expect:

• Experience: 35 years in data analytics data science or data quality/reliability roles;

• Core Technical Skills: Strong Python and SQL. We care deeply about your ability to read debug optimize and validate code generated by others (and AI);

• Data Science & QA Mindset: A strong grounding in statistics/data science combined with a sharp QA instinct. You know how to spot methodology errors false positives and hidden edge cases that others miss;

• AI Tool Fluency: Comfort utilizing AI-assisted workflows and automated data tools paired with a healthy skepticism of their outputs;

• Industry Background: Familiarity with high-volume environments (social media digital traffic or web analytics) is a major advantage;

• Fluency in English is essential.

Nice to Have:

• Modern Stack: Hands-on experience with databases data modeling and cloud data platforms (GCP);

• BI & Version Control: Proficiency with GitHub;

• Automation: Experience with workflow and automation tools like n8n.

Salary: from 3700 to 4800 Gross/month (Exact compensation will vary depending on your specific experience skills and location).
