We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer Switchgear for one of our clients in Kuwait.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor quality control processes in LV & MV switchgear manufacturing activities.
Conduct incoming material inspections in-process quality checks and final inspections before dispatch.
Ensure all products comply with IEC standards project specifications and customer requirements.
Handle Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) quality documentation inspection reports and related records.
Coordinate corrective and preventive actions to address quality-related issues and improve processes.
Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards throughout project execution.
Requirements
Experience Required:
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in switchgear quality control and inspection is mandatory.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of LV & MV panel inspection and testing procedures.
Good understanding of IEC standards and switchgear manufacturing practices.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
Strong documentation reporting and communication skills.
Ability to identify quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidates with hands-on experience in switchgear manufacturing environments and strong quality assurance backgrounds will be preferred.

Required Skills:
Experience Required: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in switchgear protection systems and protection relays is mandatory. Required Skills & Qualifications: Hands-on experience with numerical protection relays such as ABB Siemens Schneider Electric or similar brands. Strong understanding of electrical protection philosophies and relay coordination concepts. Experience in LV & MV switchgear systems and associated protection schemes. Familiarity with relay testing equipment such as Omicron will be an added advantage. Good analytical troubleshooting and technical reporting skills. Candidates with strong commissioning and relay testing experience in industrial or utility projects will be preferred.
