Purchasing Manager

Key responsibilities

• Source evaluate and negotiate with suppliers; maintain an approved supplier list.
• Process purchase requisitions and orders in line with approved budgets and authority limits.
• Receive goods check quality and quantity and reconcile with invoices.
• Coordinate with stores and departments to manage stock levels and avoid shortages and waste.
• Track prices savings and supplier performance.
• Report on purchasing spend and stock to the General Manager.

Qualifications :

Qualifications and experience

• Diploma or degree in Procurement Supply Chain or Business; CIPS/KISM an advantage.
• 3 years in purchasing preferably in hospitality.
• Strong negotiation numeracy and record-keeping skills; high integrity.

Additional Information :

Terms

3 months probationary period

2 years renewable contracts subject to satisfactory performance

Basic salary Kshs 50000 gross per month
