PUBLIC RELATIONS & CORPORATE COMMNICATIONS

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Public Relations & Corporate Communications professional to lead and strengthen its global communications media relations reputation management and corporate communications function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing the organisations Public Relations Earned Media and Corporate Communications Strategy.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists editors media outlets podcast hosts and other key influencers.
• Managing media enquiries interviews press releases media statements pitches and thought-leadership opportunities.
• Preparing executives for interviews speaking engagements and major announcements including speeches talking points and briefing materials.
• Developing clear and consistent messaging for major initiatives partnerships products reports and organisational developments.
• Leading reputation monitoring and management identifying emerging risks and opportunities and advising senior leadership.
• Developing and coordinating crisis communications plans response protocols stakeholder messaging and crisis preparedness exercises.
• Managing internal communications to ensure employees remain informed aligned and connected to organisational priorities.
• Coordinating communications with Network Members Strategic Partners and affiliated organisations.
• Establishing communication metrics dashboards and regular reports to measure visibility credibility reputation and strategic impact.
• Managing relationships and performance of external PR agencies and communications partners.

Qualifications :

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelors Degree in Public Relations Communications Journalism Marketing or a related field.
• At least 5 years relevant experience in public relations corporate communications media relations or journalism.
• Demonstrated experience leading communications initiatives across multiple countries regions or global markets.
• Exceptional writing editing storytelling and executive communication skills.
• Strong experience in media relations reputation management crisis and issues communications.
• Proven ability to develop compelling media stories and secure meaningful earned media opportunities.
• Excellent strategic thinking stakeholder management project management and relationship-building skills.
• Sound judgement discretion initiative and the ability to work independently in a dynamic global environment.
• Experience in philanthropy nonprofit services financial services fintech impact investing or international development will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with PR and media monitoring platforms such as Cision Meltwater Muck Rack or similar tools is desirable.

Additional Information :

          Work Environment

•  Regular workdays run from roughly (EAT) to overlap with European and US Eastern Time work hours.
•  Willingness to work more than 8 hours per day as needed during peak periods.
