Job Summary

The Senior Sales Engineer will be responsible for selling the full range of John Crane products and services directly to existing clients and self-generated prospects while proactive seek for additional new customers aiming to minimize exposure and diversify portfolio contributing to meet or exceed annual targets.

Manage and develop Tier-1 & Tier 2 customers in Caspian and Central Asia regions in line with Business Plan and financial KPIs.

Understand client needs and business objectives to provide tailored solutions.

Provide technical support and sell value added solutions to key customers.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of products and services.

Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.

Target retrofits and upgrades with special focus in Energy transition projects.

Analyze market trends and competitor activities to strategically position our services and products aligned with sourcing strategies from end-users.

Build the bridge and coordinate activities between customers and local Service Centre.

Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients showcasing our products and value propositions.

Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted strategies growth and acquire business within the country.

Monitor and report agreed KPIs providing regular updates to management.

Evaluate tender requirements and work with Regional Customer Service Team building the right value propositions.

Identify research and contact prospective customers building positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeated business.

Refer sales leads customer feedback and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond timely to changing market conditions and customer demands.

Establish annual quarterly sales plans while actively participate on budgeting and forecasting process.

 


Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or similar field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in engineering and sales.
  • Engineering knowledge in a proactive multinational and multicultural environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of John Crane product portfolio or equivalent industry.
  • Must be proficient in English Russian and Kazakh.
  • Knowledge of oil & gas petrochemical and general industries;
  • Knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques

Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment
