Working Student Technical Writer mwd

We are seeking a highly motivated Working Student Technical Writer who plays a crucial role in creating comprehensive and clear technical content for our products.

Tasks

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with engineers developers and other SMEs to gather technical information.
• Regularly update and maintain existing technical documentation to ensure accuracy and relevancy.
• Create white papers product data sheets user manuals guides and FAQs to assist endusers in understanding product features and functionalities.
• Implement version control practices to track document revisions and maintain a clear document history.
• Perform quality checks on technical content to ensure consistency accuracy and adherence to style guides.
• Explore the integration of multimedia elements such as diagrams screenshots and videos to enhance document clarity.

Requirements

Desired Skills:

• Ability to quickly grasp new technologies and adapt writing style to suit different audiences.
• Proficiency in using graphic design tools or collaboration with graphic designers to enhance visual aspects of documentation.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Openness to receiving and incorporating feedback from both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with documentation tools such as Confluence or other content management systems.
• Awareness of industry standards and regulations ensuring documentation complies with relevant guidelines.
• Willingness to stay updated on industry trends documentation best practices and emerging technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong problemsolving skills to understand complex technical concepts and present them in an understandable way.
• Keen attention to detail ensuring accuracy and completeness in all technical documents.
• Efficient time management to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
• Fluency in English or German (C2 level).

Educational Background:

• Currently enrolled in a university program with a focus on technical communication writing engineering or a related field for at least 2 more semesters.
