Wireman - Multinational Manufacturing Company

Main Objectives:

The wireman / Electrician is responsible to install the cables wires conductors and connectors required to connect a device machine or system to a power source and test it in a safe and efficient manner following company standards.

Responsibilities:

Testing and inspecting installations to ensure functionality.

Wiring of industrial electrical equipment

Electrical fault diagnosis and repairing in wiring and electrical components.

Check connections to ensure they match and record any discrepancies.

Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or faulty units

Communicate with other stations on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracy.

Conduct regular predictive/preventive maintenance of electrical systems.

Accountable for adhering to and implementing all quality and safety guidelines.

Familiarize yourself with the tools instrumentation and calibration equipment.

Inform Assembly Line Leader of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem.

Conserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste.

Report unsafe practices/conditions to shift/team leader.

Identify continuous improvement opportunities for process and equipment. Helps to meet daily efficiencies by focused approach to performing tasks compliantly and safely according to procedure/process.

Candidate Profile

Freshers to 2 years of experience in general assembly work or specialized training

Ability to commit flexible schedule and prompt arrival for shifts.

Experience with power and hand tools a plus.
