Location: Auburn Hills MI
Duration: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $21$27/Hr on W2
Days Monday Friday 6a4:45p Saturday 6a12p Nights Monday Friday 4p2:45a Saturday 12p6p
Responsibilities
- MIG and TIG weld small and large components
- Assess welded surfaces structures and components to identify errors
- Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heatresistant gloves safety glasses protective masks and safety shoes
- Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature
- Weld components in diverse positions (i.e. flat vertical and overhead positions)
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and ITAR compliance
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Ability to read blueprints in detail
- Ability to identify and find specifications
- Knowledgeable in geometric tolerances (understand and recognize all symbols)
- Thorough understanding of general tolerances
- Comprehend sections and views
- Understand reference system
- Ability to locate and read stock list on drawing
- Ability to operate presses
- Use of hand tools (drill motors grinders etc.)
- Ability to saw miter and fit fabrications (fit and tack)
Experience
- Certified in TIG and MIG welding
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
