Web Development Intern

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and developing website layouts and user interfaces
• Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve website issues
• Update and maintain existing website content and functionality
• Assist in implementing SEO best practices and optimizing website performance
• Work on frontend and backend development tasks under the guidance of senior developers
• Conduct website testing and debugging
• Stay updated on emerging web development trends and technologies
• Provide support in website documentation and training materials
• Assist in gathering and analyzing website usage data for optimization
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for website improvements

Required Qualifications:

• Enrollment in a Bachelor s or Master s degree program in Computer Science Web Development or related field
• Basic understanding of HTML CSS and JavaScript
• Proficiency in web design and graphic editing tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop Illustrator)
• Knowledge of responsive and mobile design principles
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow directions
• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices
• Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g. Git)
• Experience with content management systems (e.g. WordPress Drupal) is a plus
