Job Description
- Management of the technical directors, including hiring, staff development, promotion, and the development of a healthy organization.
- Collaboration with other members of project leadership, including participating in project roadmap, growth, performance, creative, game design and ensuring that the development roadmap reflects a mature strategy for balancing technical risks and opportunities, product objectives, and long-term project health.
- Effective coordination with technology stakeholders across the studio, ensuring healthy and productive communication between engineering, product, art, production within the game team.
- Establishing and maintaining the practices and mentality required for top-tier game development, in productive and efficient use of technology, pragmatic architectural decisions, and good development practices, in service of what gamers/content creators expect from the game/tools.
