Venture Capital Intern

Planven Entrepreneur Ventures is a venture capital fund with an innovative focus on combining established industries with cutting edge growth stage technology companies. We invest in companies that market B2B software products & services in the field of Cybersecurity AI ML and Health Tech. Were currently investing out of our second fund (total AuM USD300M) in revenue generating companies in EU IL and the US. Our offices are centrally located in Zurich Switzerland and Tel Aviv Israel.

Were looking for a fulltime 6month Intern to join our rapidly expanding investment fund starting in Jan/Feb 2024. As an intern you will have the opportunity to work closely with our investment team and gain handson experience in the venture capital industry. You will be involved in all aspects of the investment process and you will also have the opportunity to attend industry events and network with other professionals in the field.

Tasks

• Screening and sourcing of early and latestage investment opportunities
• Research on market trends and competition analysis
• Pipeline management
• Investment analysis & execution support (preliminary analysis Due Diligence draft of investment memos)
• Draft of quarterly valuation reports and tracking of portfolio financial results
• Support with portfolio companies on an adhoc basis
• Networking and brand building related activities
• Support investor relations and communications

Requirements

• Having completed a Bachelor or Master degree with major in Finance / Technology or related field
• Previous internship/work experience in a consulting investment banking or technology related role (prior venture capital or startup experience is a plus)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
• Ability to understand new ideas quickly and have demonstrated great interest in latest technology trends
• Proactive attitude ability to work independently and manage different activities simultaneously
• English is a must. Any other languages such as German French or Italian is a plus
• Excellent academic (and professional) track record
• EU passport holders/Swiss work permit holders ONLY
• Ideally starting in January/February 2024 for a 6month period
