5 years of VMware administration in assessment design implementation capacity planning and maintenance

Current VMware Certified Professional (VCP) a plus

Current VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX) highly desirable

Good understanding of networking and storage technologies e.g. NSXT SAN vSAN NFS SMB

Working knowledge with REST API JSON and/or YAML

Compute Consultant:

• Actively participate in the Deployment and Configuration of vSphere (vCenter and ESXi) and planning design and implementation of VCF vSphere across six sites i.e. Post Las Vegas Deployment (Amsterdam Bangalore Ashburn Singapore Tokyo Shanghai).
  
• Drive projects alongside Broadcom SMEs to solve complex problems for Broadcom VCF Deployment project.
  
• Maintain Understanding of VMware products including vSphere vCenter NSX vROps vRA and Horizon View
  
• Expert skills in vSphere with large implementation experience
  
• vROps solution integration experience
  
• Experience virtualizing multiple operating systems developing technical and end user documentation and addressing securityrelated concerns
  

Network Consultant:

• Actively participate in the Deployment and Configuration of NSXT for VCF (Management Domain and Workload domains across six sites i.e. Post Las Vegas Deployment (Amsterdam Bangalore Ashburn Singapore Tokyo Shanghai).
  
• Contribute in planning design and implementation of VCF across target sites.
  
• Developing maintaining and supporting networks in NSXT
  
• Providing security and network support for physical networking and firewall services.
  
• Demonstrate understanding of Domainlevel of Cloud Infrastructure & Networking (Data Center Design Network Architecture Network Design System Architecture Virtualization Systems Management Security)
  
• Demonstrate understanding of Network Security Tools and Networking Concepts such as firewalls IDS/IPS and Security/Trust Zones Network components and concepts include routers switches load balancers and other networking and security components from various vendors. Storage Consultant:

• Actively participate in the Deployment and Configuration of vSAN and Pure Storage planning design and implementation of VCF vSphere across 6 sites i.e. Post Las Vegas site Deployment (Amsterdam Bangalore Ashburn Singapore Tokyo Shanghai).
  
• Optimize VMware vSAN Clusters Execute the deployment and configuration of VMware vSAN clusters following best practices.
  
• Optimize the performance of vSAN clusters through configuration adjustments and enhancements.
  
• Capacity Planning and Resource Utilization Conduct capacity planning to ensure the efficient utilization of resources. Monitor and manage resource allocation to optimize performance.
  
• Integration and Collaboration Integrate vSAN with VMware vSphere and other relevant technologies. Collaborate closely with storage network and system administrators to ensure seamless integration with the existing infrastructure.
  
• Support and Maintenance Provide support for vSANrelated issues and incidents. Participate in Maintenance Configuration and Optimization (MCO) activities for both vSAN and vRO (VMware vRealize Orchestrator).
  

Telemetry Consultant:

• As a vRealize Operations Manager Telemetry building of UI for entire Org (Across 7 Data centers) to capture metrics CPU Memory Storage & Network Utilization. Inventory details.
  
• As a vRealize Operations Manager Telemetry and Dashboard Creation Specialist your primary responsibility will be to design develop and maintain telemetry solutions and create insightful dashboards for monitoring and analyzing the performance and health of IT infrastructure. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams including system administrators network engineers and application developers to ensure the effective utilization of vRealize Operations Manager for infrastructure monitoring and management.
  
• Telemetry Solution Design and Implementation Collaborate with stakeholders to understand monitoring requirements and design telemetry solutions using vRealize Operations Manager.
  
• Configure and deploy vRealize Operations Manager components including adapters management packs and data collectors.
  
• Define metrics policies and thresholds for monitoring various infrastructure components such as servers storage network and virtualization.
  

Monitoring Consultant:

• As a VMware VCF Monitoring Consultant demonstrate knowledge across vRealize Operations Manager vRealize Network Insight and Log Insight.
  
• You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the effective use of these platforms for infrastructure management performance monitoring network visibility and log analysis.
  
• vRealize Operations Management: Configure and manage vRealize Operations Manager for infrastructure monitoring and performance analysis. Create custom dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights into infrastructure health and performance.
  
• vRealize Network Insight Utilization: Implement vRealize Network Insight to provide visibility into network traffic and security posture. Use vRealize Network Insight for network troubleshooting performance optimization and security compliance.
  
• Log Insight Management: Deploy and manage Log Insight for centralized log management. Create custom queries alerts and dashboards in Log Insight to monitor system events and identify anomalies. Use Log Insight for root cause analysis and incident response.
  

Security Consultant:

• Design implement and manage secure network infrastructures using VMware NSX and OKTA. You will be responsible for creating secure access policies managing network security services and ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations.
  
• VMware NSX Implementation and Management:
  
• Design and implement secure network architectures using VMware NSX.
  
• Configure and manage NSX components such as distributed firewalls load balancers VPNs and edge services gateways.
