Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and treating urological conditions such as prostate issues kidney stones incontinence and urinary tract infections
• Performing surgical procedures including prostatectomies nephrectomies and bladder surgeries
• Prescribing and overseeing medication regimens for patients with urological disorders
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds MRIs and urodynamic studies
• Collaborating with other specialists including oncologists and nephrologists in the treatment of complex cases
• Providing patient education on urological conditions and treatment options
• Participating in departmental meetings and contributing to quality improvement initiatives
• Contributing to research and staying updated on advancements in urological care
• Participating in oncall schedules for urological emergencies

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Completion of residency in urology from an accredited program
• Board certification in urology
• Licensure to practice medicine in the state of Location
• Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of urological conditions
• Proficiency in urological surgical procedures
• Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of latest urological advancements
• Excellent decisionmaking and problemsolving abilities
