- A degree in Design, Interaction Design, or a related field. While formal education is beneficial, practical experience and a strong portfolio are often equally important.
- Proven experience as a UI/UX designer, with a track record of successfully delivering user-centered design solutions for digital products. A minimum of 5 years of experience is typically expected.
- A well-curated portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX projects that demonstrate design skills, problem-solving abilities, and a user-centered design approach.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools for creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
- A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, present design concepts, and explain design rationale.
- Ability to identify design challenges and provide innovative solutions to enhance the user experience.
- A meticulous approach to design, with a focus on pixel-perfect execution and consistency.
- While not always required, basic front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) can be advantageous for effective collaboration with development teams.
- Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements, user feedback, and evolving design trends.
- The ability to empathize with users and advocate for their needs throughout the design process.
